A BBC Panorama team has smuggled goods into Britain and then sold them on eBay and Amazon to highlight a fraud costing the country a billion pounds a year.

Bank of Ireland UK launches Online Offers for Brokers
Bank of Ireland UK has introduced Online Offers on their already award winning application system.
It’s now quicker and easier for you, with no more waiting for paper copies to be posted. Instead, once an offer is produced, you’ll receive an email to let you know that your customer’s case has gone to offer. You’ll then be able to log into the online application system and instantly download the PDF.
This great new feature is just one of the latest upgrades to their online systems and services, showing their commitment to further streamline their processes and deliver a better user experience to you.

New Critical Illness offering
Legal and General Insurance are pleased to let you know that they’ve updated their Critical Illness product, enhancing our current offering by partnering with RedArc* to introduce six additional support services for your clients.
The additional support services provide your clients with support tailored to their circumstances. The changes aim to support their health and wellbeing throughout the life of their Critical Illness Cover (CIC) policy and post-claim and come at no extra cost.
They also have new features available at an additional cost to help support your client’s wellbeing. This includes Legal & General GP24 and a Private Consultation Concierge Service. The service costs £3.25 a month**.
To help you provide further support for your clients, we’ve developed a new CIC Resource Centre, a one-stop-shop for CIC information. You’ll be able to access a suite of supporting documents, as well as literature, videos, and other resources relating to Critical Illness Cover.
